In an era where award pricing only seems to go up, Air France’s recent changes are a breath of fresh air.

I just wish they actually published an award chart and got rid of fuel surcharges, but here is their current saver award pricing.

Don’t forget that you can also get a 25% transfer bonus from Chase to Flying Blue through 11/30!

Kids rates apply for kids under 12 for travel on Air France or KLM.

You can book award travel at www.airfrance.us.

NYC to Paris or Amsterdam on Air France/KLM:
Coach Adults: 20K + $63. Kids: 15K + $63.
Premium Adults: 35K + $126. Kids: 26,250 + $126.
Business Adults: 50K + $200. Kids: 37.5K + $200.

The coach rates from JFK are up from 15K, but are down from 40K in premium and 55K in business.

The same saver rates apply from all US cities on Air France or KLM, which is a big savings for travel from the west coast as those were significantly higher.

NYC-Tel Aviv on Air France/KLM:
Coach Adults: 30K + $81. Kids: 22.5K + $81.
Premium Adults: 50K + $164. Kids: 37.5K+ $164.
Business Adults: 82.5K + $227. Kids: 61,875 + $227.

The Israel rates were 35K in coach and 95K in business previously. However they’re still much higher than they were back when they included Israel in Europe.

NYC-London on Virgin:
Coach: 22.5K + $63
Business: 73.5K + $200

NYC-London on Delta:
Coach: 24.5K + $10

NYC-Brussels on Delta:
Coach: 26K + $10
Business: 64K + $10

NYC-Frankfurt on Delta:
Coach: 27.5K + $10
Business: 78K + $10

NYC-Zurich on Delta:
Coach: 28K + $10
Business: 79.5K + $10

NYC-Tel Aviv on Delta:
Coach: 40K + $10

Generally speaking, you’ll be better off using Virgin Atlantic points for travel on Delta.

While these are saver rates, the actual rates vary by day. You can get the flexible award calendar by searching for a mileage ticket with an account on airfrance.us just leaving the date blank when searching for an award ticket.

You can also save more with rotating promo rewards. Child discounts don’t apply to promo awards.
