is it Possible to book Virgin Atlantic flight with ANA miles?
If yes can it be done online, or is it only over the phone?
And what are the taxes and fees like?
(I know the discount is only one using Virgin Atlantic miles)

mf

officially yes and it should cost 52k each way, when I tried to figure out the taxes they said that they have to request the ticket from virgin and then they can know the tax amount and they will only do it if I had the number of miles required in my account (which I didn’t). please let me know if you had any success (if the agent says that there isn’t any availability tell them that they have to request it manually from virgin)

Justmeha

So it can’t be booked online?

mf

not that I know of

Does this apply only to Virgin flights or does it work for Delta flights as well?

Justmeha

Dan, If going RT Economy, I think the cash rate is actually better.
Based on the Deal Above 2 OW tickets would be 19k points plus $456.
Vs paying all out cash RT for $617 PLUS you still earn 5,668 Virgin Points.
For an additional $161 your saving 19k points plus earning 5668 Virgin Points. So basically with the points option your getting a value of .0085 per chase/amex/citi point.

Possible to book delta flight jfk tlv. With virgine points?

JOHN

AS OF NOW LONDON TLV COST 4.5K POINTS PLUS TAX WILL IT DOUBLE IN 2 DAYS ?

i read the post

is the 50% off already reflected in fares shown on their booking site or does it drop at checkout? I’ve tried calling them but the hold time is forever…
I need to transfer points from Amex to VA before I make the purchase, but I obviously only want to transfer the minimum required…
Also, I think I saw somewhere that VA charges to redeposit points if I need to cancel the flight, is that true?

jeffrey
