@dan I wanted your opinion on an issue that I am having with indochino. They sent me a suit and told me to go to a local tailor to have it fitted. They said that they would cover the costs. After I had it tailored and requested a reimbursement, they ended up doing a remake of the jacket since it looked awkward after the tailoring. I have the whole thing documented with them telling me to get it tailored etc. Now they are saying that they cannot reimburse me since they did a remake and they do not offer any refunds. They are offering a $50 credit for the future. Frankly, I am disgusted with them. What would you advise me to do? (I already told them once that this is not an acceptable offer and sent them the transcript of the correspondence of the agent telling me to get it tailored and that it would be covered.) Thank you!
Tough situation. Not sure if it’s their fault that your tailor didn’t get it right.
Did you not have a local store you could have gone to and had their own tailor do it or decide to remake it?
Can always try a chargeback based on the transcript.
They just opened a store here now. This took place over the last few months.

Try charging back the amount you paid for tailoring against the original price paid for the suit?
Definitely much better to have their tailors do the work whenever possible.
