Delta has released some nonstop business class award space between JFK and Zurich to their partner airlines.

The best way to book it would be with 50K Virgin Atlantic miles one-way. There are no fuel surcharges for these flights if you book one-way or round-trip from the US. A one-way from Europe to the US would trigger fuel surcharges.

From Zurich you can book travel elsewhere in Europe using miles with airlines with other, such as United.

Isn’t SWISS using narrow body jets to TLV? that makes their “business” class quite lame.
