Anyone here know can these phones work in Israel? (Of course with a different transformer suitable for Eretz Israel)
You can go to your local electric repair shop there who can sell you the right adapter (which accepts 220 input, outputs the same V as the original adapter, and has the right size pin to fit) to make it work. May make the deal not as worthwhile anymore. Figure around 50 shek per adapter. And the side of it that plugs into the phone base is not always small enough to fit under the base like the original adapter’s is, so the base may not stand completely straight.
