Transfer Citi ThankYou Points To Qantas And Get A 25% Bonus!
You can get 1,250 Qantas Points for every 1,000 Citi ThankYou points that you transfer by 2/22.
As you can see from this miles expiration post, Qantas points won’t expire as long as you earn or redeem 1 mile every 18 months.
Qantas now partners with Air France/KLM Flying Blue for more reward flight options, though they add fuel surcharges for those flights.
You can use 37.8K Qantas points in coach, 70,800 Qantas points in premium economy, or 90K Qantas points in business for a one-way ticket on El Al between NYC and Tel Aviv without fuel surcharges, but El Al does block some of the space on the route:

Note that Qantas doesn’t currently have a stacking transfer bonus, but they might release one before this promo ends, so don’t transfer points now unless you need to book something quickly.
However it’s worth noting that transferring points to Qantas allows you to get targeted for future transfer bonuses. El Al has a good availability through Qantas between TLV and SFO. However, no business. Al least none of 3 agents I spoke could find. Another issue is the price. It’s 93k Qantas in Premium Economy one way … Not fun at all.
