You can redeem for a cruise for 2 passengers from Miami or several European locations this year from just 115K Virgin Red points. The price for a solo passenger is the same as for 2.

Virgin Red points and Virgin Atlantic points can be linked together and used in either program. You can transfer points from AMEX, Chase, or Citi to Virgin Atlantic or from Capital One to Virgin Red.

Plus, through 5/31, AMEX points get a 30% bonus for transfers to Virgin. Chase points also get a 30% bonus through 6/15, which will lower your cost to less than 89K points! All taxes, port fees, and tips are covered by the points as well.

Virgin cruises are for adults that are at least 18 years old only. All food, soft drinks, tips, group fitness classes, entertainment, and Wi-Fi are included.

Sadly, Virgin cruises don’t offer kosher meals. However, kosher observant commenters SD and Cruise Lover as well as DDF member BrooklynCPA booked last year’s Virgin Cruise deal with points and shared their experiences making things work with kosher food.

Want to book a kosher cruise? Email info@freshkoshercruise.com for information on Royal Caribbean’s fresh kosher food cruise program. View JJ’s Royal Caribbean kosher cruise review here. Alas, you can’t use points for that!

Reading the other posts comments, Pardon my ignorance, is double wrapping a thing to rewarm food or also to cook raw fish etc. And what about bishul akem?

R

Double wrapping refers to warming food. Bishul Akum is not relevant for re-heating food

Moe

some raw fish is a machlokes if there is a prob. of bishul akkum. ask your lor.

Steven

I can’t find on their emails what dates the five day cruise can begin on. Any idea anyone?

Phil DDF

is there an expiration date for this deal?

C2CMom

Thanks for the information. This seems like a great deal. I put in for one and now I’m waiting for the Access Key. I hope it works out even though I’m a little anxious about it because we’ve never been on a cruise before.

Enoch

can i use my points to book for my parents?
im worried if i get the access key and book for my parents, itll void the promotion since its not under my name.

Eli

Is there a way to see availability and final cost without first transferring miles into my VA account?

Chris

Is this something that is an ongoing opportunity with these guys or is this just a one-off deal with Virgin Cruises? Just wondering if transferring points is a good idea if you’re not completely sure the current round of cruise ops will work, but if new cruises are popping up later then I’m perfectly fine with that.

Mark

The kosher food concern is a shame, this is a great deal but worrying about food makes it such a gamble. If there was a freezer in the room, I’d bring vacuum-sealed and frozen cooked meals along with a sous vide. Best way I’ve found to have hot kosher food in destinations without kosher options.

On another note, Virgin Voyages prides themselves with being very “Woke” which attracts all types of peoples in a way you wouldn’t find on any other mainstream cruise line (V’hamevin Yavin). This includes staff, entertainment, and guest. If you are easily offended or sensitive to this, stay away from this cruise line. It is adults only for a reason and not only for the peace and quiet.

The actual cruise ship is beautiful, modern, new and very high end. The Greek Isle itinerary is incredible. There are 2 kosher restaurants in Rhodes, a kosher food option on Mykonos and of course the chabad restaurant in Athens to at least compensate somewhat for what you will have to give up on the ship!!!
