25% Off Award Sale:

Virgin Atlantic is offering 25% off awards for Virgin Atlantic flights.

Virgin Atlantic points can be transferred from several currencies (see below) and never expire. Dates changes or cancellations cost $50 ($35 if originating in UK) or a forfeiture of taxes paid, whichever is lower.

Stackable 30% Transfer Bonus:

Through 10/14, you can transfer points from Citi to Virgin Atlantic with a 30% transfer bonus!

Virgin Atlantic points can be transferred from several currencies (see below) and never expire. Dates changes or cancellations cost the lower of $50 ($35 if originating in UK) or the taxes paid.

Virgin does charge hefty fuel surcharges, but there are workarounds to lower than, such as booking 2 one-ways instead of a round-trip as is pointed out below.

Surcharges are much lower for flights originating in Israel, making for some real bargains for one-way or round-trip departures from there!

Here are just a few sample deals using Virgin points. Rates are rounded and Citi points must be transferred in increments of 1,000.

Basically if 2 people are flying then you shud call in and ask for companion fare they basically give you 50% off the miles on the 2nd ticket (works for 2,4,6,8 etc..)

It’s a discount they add , sometimes you gotta talk to 2 different people to get it but usually works

Discount not showing for mid-December

Ben

I literally a week ago booked tickets from London to TLV with virgin, is it worth cancelling and rebooking? Worth asking for them to match current prices?
