Ordered using the amex promo so it was free, but the confirmation email I got and my order details still show $20+ tax collected and don’t have the amex 20% promo. I’ve gotten less than $60 in savings so far with the amex promo, so that isn’t the issue. Any chance this is a weird thing because it’s a pre order item?

I tried to place an order and the credit did show.
I saw here and elsewhere that people got the item but not the credit and had to ask Amazon for it. I also didnt see the Amex discount in the original email or on the invoice, so I cancelled my order. I see a $20 courtesy credit in my account, wondering if it from this, even though I cancelled the order last night. Did others check the CC charge and make sure the Amex discount went through?
Just got an email from Amazon verifying the credit is from this deal. I cancelled the item after the credit was applied and it still seems valid.
