Jordan

anybody know the kashrut on this?

Dan

@Jordan:
KORC.

I reached out to someone high up in the kashrus business in a major agency.
He said it’s perfectly fine on unflavored coffee.

EB

Even no hechsher at all should be fine for unflavoured coffee. Ask your LOR.

Just a word of caution on this coffee. It is very good coffee as you can see from 25K + reviews. They have no bottom which definitely reduces waste and it still works fine but standard K-Cups last very long because they are vacuum-sealed. These are not. So the coffee does go stale faster. If this is for an office setting, that’s fine. But if you’re a one-coffee-a-day person, this volume might be too much.

Todd

@EB: Good to know EB, thanks. Do you think you could just ziplock them to keep them a little longer?

EB

@Todd: Yes, you can Ziploc them. I think the bigger boxes also come up with a plastic container to keep them in. But neither is as airtight as an actual full K-Cup.
But if I recall, my box was also broken down into smaller, sealed bags.

K ORC (San Fran) is not recommended by CRC

It’s fine for unflavored coffee, but feel free to AYLOR.
