Chase has several excellent airline and hotel mileage transfer options. And they have some duds.

IHG often sells their points for 0.5 cents each and you can buy them from Daily Getaways today for that price.

Chase points can be cashed out for 1% cash or 1.5% or more towards travel or paying yourself back for purchases, so it would be a very bad idea to transfer them to IHG at the normal 1:1 ratio.

From now through 8/15, you can transfer Chase points to IHG at a 1:1.5 ratio.

While there are scenarios where IHG points can be worth more than they’re sold for, as you can buy 1.5 IHG points for 0.75 cents, it would be pretty ridiculous to transfer Chase points even with a 50% bonus.

Not all redemptions are good ones!
