Yes, BUT only if the cancellation is done more than 7 days prior to departure. This is the DOT requirement- the other airlines that allow 24-hour cancellation even within 7 days is actually a courtesy, and not required. But Spirit (and Frontier) follow only what is required, so this is important to keep in mind when booking flights within the next 8 days.
