Anyone have this? Any good?
Probably wrong question but how does this compare to Ooni ?
Have neither this nor an Ooni, but have had from both this and Ooni multiple times.
Ooni wins simplicity every day because of the option for propane instead of charcoal.
That being said, charcoal obviously does help finish the pizza with a better flavor.
Keep in mind that propane means the temperature is better controlled than charcoal (or wood, for even more flavor!), but obviously limits the authenticity for a real connoisseur.
If I were purchasing one tomorrow, price not relevant, I would choose an Ooni for the propane aspect. If price were relevant, I would choose this because you can’t come close with Ooni prices.
Feeling lucky? Never had it, but I hear Ooni has a charcoal/propane combo, where you can choose which you use each time.
