Q.
is it worth signing up to any or all of those cards if i dont want to pay the yearly fee.
i.e. do i still keep the points ETC.
Just thought I’d share my experience. I just canceled a American Express Delta Gold card and I tried just transferring over the credit to my Starwood card. They allowed me to transfer the credit but it still was considered a cancellation of the card (for my credit report) only if I were to transfer the credit to a brand new card then it would not be considered a cancellation. (i.e if I would let them open up a new credit card account, but I would not get any miles/points for opening that new card)
