Palm finally got it right with the Centro. Its been a huge success on Sprint (its even been released in 3 colors to date!) I’ve written about my affinity for it in the past, so I won’t bore you guys again.

It was just released for AT&T. The color choice (White with lime green buttons) is suspect and the EDGE internet won’t help things out, but then again nobody signs up with a GSM provider for fast data speeds…

You can get one today at the Palm Store. They’re even currently running a promotion for free shipping on all phones and accessories!

Readers please note.
As the rumors went that Feb 19 thy will release the Centro on AT&T, the also said that thy are expecting a black version of the Centro on AT&T, expected in about 30days, but dont take my word for it.

The Nuvi 260 does not have bluetooth, it is the one exception to the x60 rule…

Cingular (AT&T) and Verizon both announce $99.99 unlimited plan, but with unlimited text and data, Cingular is $15 cheaper than Verizon at $134.99 as opposed to $149.99. Also, Cingular is offering no-contract to new subscribers of this plan as stated in their press release.

AT&T you wil only get 5GB of data with that plan, Verizon is unlimited SO if you need less then 5GB AT&T is the way to go.

Rumors are that sprint will have the plan for about 40% cheaper $59.

GeekizChic

AT&T allows unlimited data when used from your phone, only tethering is there an official 5GB limit. I’ve never done it but I’ve heard they won’t say anything even if you do go over.

Wait, do i get tethering with verizon as well?

GeekizChic

Tethering with verizon means you need to get the $60 BroadbandConnect plan. Verizon’s limits are always 5GB. Here’s a quote from my blog: http://geekizchic.blogspot.com

With both services, if you want to tether your device to a PC it’ll be even more (AT&T would be a total of $179.99 for unlimited talk, text, data from the phone, and 5GB data for tethering). The exact limitations on data with these services are confusing, but the officially advertised plan is that with Verizon your data usage can never exceed 5GB per month, whether it is used on a regular phone/blackberry/PDA or even if you pay extra to tether using the BroadbandConnect plan. With AT&T, on a regular phone/blackberry/PDA it is unlimited, but if you pay extra to tether you can only tether up to 5GB per month.

How do you tether with sprint?
