Unlikely to be a price mistake. They just released the new model of the indoor/outdoor stick-up cam which will likely be much more popular than this model (does not have the lights though, but works well in dark areas).
As far as Shabbos is concerned, you should speak to your Rav, but they current setup is that recording starts when there is motion which is quite problematic. They announced that later next year they will offer continuous recording, but you should still check with your Rav.
The only way now to disable on Shabbos is to either unplug, or create a tiny motion zone in the corner of the screen which is not a real viewing area, and make that the only active area on Shabbos. You will need to manually change the setting before and after Shabbos. It is possible that it is still really recording even though you cannot access, but you should discuss with your Rav if this is a concern as it may be a Psik Reisha Delo Neicha (you don’t want them recording you if you have no way to access it).
