I know I’ll get several comments asking which is the way to go, so let’s tackle that right here.
They’re both fantastic deals for great cameras, but DDF photography guru “Something Fishy” tells us that the T5i is definitely the better overall camera. Both deals come with the same wide angle lens. However the SL1 deal also includes this telephoto lens for taking long-range pictures. That lens isn’t a high-quality telephoto lens, but it’s better than nothing and is included only in the SL1 package.
In short, if you value having the better overall camera then go with the T5i deal, if you value being able to take long-range photos from a distance go with the SL1 package, and if your budget is larger than $399.99 then go with the T5i and invest in a higher quality telephoto lens when you need it.

Man I have been going back and forth on SL1 or T5i. I hear what your “guy” is saying. Although I think the camera’s are so close in comparison it is really going to depend on the user. Someone just looking to get the quality and control of an SLR is going to do really well with the sl1. Add to that that they could sell the extra lens for $100 and the printer for $150 and now you got a nice family camera for $150
Don’t think of selling the printer for 150 first of all, you have to cut out the upc from the box, 2nd go look on eBay how much it’s sells

Just follow the directions on the form.
The printers are selling anywhere from $100-$200 on ebay (including shipping) So I said $150. I think it is a fair price and the going rate.
Nobody is buying it for 150 they go on sale with the rebate for $50 every couple of months hate to burst your bubble
@ay gross, sorry to burst YOUR bubble but the first listing has a guy who sold 120 at $260. Sell your brand new with box, and find someone who has a healthy amount of reviews, and youll sell it quickly for $150.
