It’s amazing how often these 95 for 100 deals are appearing. Seems like almost once a week nowadays!
For some reason this time and last time to was unable to buy the gift cards with previously purchased gift cards
Why do you post these deals? A 5% discs when you spend a $100? You are so much better than that
Do I need to wait for the next time it hours on sale? Or can I buy gift card #1 and then use it right away for card #2 etc

You must have a system by which you keep track of the remaining $5 eBay gift cards, right? Presumably you have dozens of them lying around. Seems to be a risk of forgetting about them. Do you just keep a simple spread sheet, or print them out and keep a paper file? Maybe you have already described your approach somewhere, but I don’t remember ever seeing it.

@zow: well you can use the $5 and the $100 then be left with 10 then the 10 and 100 and be left with 15 and so on and so forth
@zow: Was wondering the same thing but it seems like ebay or PayPal keep the remaining $5 when you use the $100 for a $95…

the real problem is when you have more then 1 ebay account and you gotta use the remaining $5 on the same account!
@Anonymous: may seem that way but its very much not that way.
I’ve done this 10s of times. I always use my GC’s with the lower amounts 1st. I have never had $ swallowed by eBay or PayPal. 1 time, the GC took longer than expected to become active so I contacted PayPal and they added $100 to my PayPal balance.
One word of caution- do NOT mix amongst multiple eBay and PayPal accounts. Keep the GC you buy within the accounts you bought it in.

Until total amount of card is used I understand from you that a gift card can be used multiple times is that correct?

do you buy from the mobile app or desktop because I had the same issue on desktop site if the 2nd gift card covers it all it will remove the first gift card.
Just remember that you can use (not buy) a grand total of $2000 worth of ebay gift cards in 180 days (rolling). I’ve reached the point where i can’t use gift cards to buy gift cards until 180 days after i made a $900 purchase a while ago (using gift cards, of course).
