Banana right now has a randomly generated promotion good for either 40% off men’s clothes+40% or 50% off women’s clothes.
You can tell which promotion you have by clicking on the link above and looking in the header.

If you are buying Men’s clothes it won’t matter but if you want women’s clothes you’ll want to go incognito to get the 50% off promotion. In IE and Firefox you can access this mode by holding down Ctrl, Shift, and P buttons on your keyboard. In Chrome you can access this mode by holding down Ctrl, Shift, and N. Then just return to DansDeals.com and click on the Banana link again until you get the 50% off header. It may take a few tries until you get it. You’ll have to close all of your incognito windows and start the process again each time until you get it. (See the comments below for another method)

Here is something interesting. I clicked the unsubscribe button on the bottom of a recent email from Banana Republic and changed my email preferences and they sent me a 25% off code as if I was a new subscriber.

Got the 50% and the 25% and applied both. E-mail only shows the base price 50% off as the base price but no discount next to it. On the bottom it deducts a large amount under the term “promotions”. Is that how it’s supposed to look or is the “promotions” referring to the 50% off?

What I’m saying is my e-mail doesn’t show the additional 25% discount next to each product. It just lumps an additional discount on the bottom where the total is. That is why I was clarifying.

I think I out”dan”ed Dan on this one: I got my order of $1245.56 down to $430.46. This was using the 40% off, then the 25% off, then my 15% birthday coupon which somehow magically worked when I called in and a $10 reward coupon. So all in all it was 65% off the final total. (btw, this order included 2 pairs of the $150 dress pants, 1 pair of the $98.50 dress pants, 1 pair of the $89.50 cotton pants, 3 polo shirts at $39.50 each, 1 dress shirt at $98.50, 2 dress shirts at $79.50, 1 dress shirt at $59.50, 3 pairs of socks at $12.50 and 1 pair of shoes at $140 – all for $430.46. Successful day – I think so 🙂
