I’ve tried declining the magazine and submitting for $10 rebate twice in the past with shoebuy. Both times did not receive anything.

Shoebuy messed me over with a similiar magazine deal. I DID decline the magazine and I was disregarded by their website. I called Shoebuy to complain and they told me it’s out of their control and I have to contact the magazine sender to cancel. I have attempted to cancel the magazine several times to no avail. I do not want to receive REDBOOK in my mailbox nor did I ever want it in my house altogether.
Based on my experience with this type of Shoebuy deal, I find it to be a big scam against the consumer. I also refuse to believe that Shoebuy can do nothing about it.
Whenever I have a rebate issue I just write to my state’s AG office online and usually I get a check very quickly.
I have declined the magazine in the past and DID receive the rebate. It takes a LONG time, like the full 8 weeks. You need to fill out the rebate form and submit with your purchase order receipt. When I called shoebuy to inquire abt the rebate bec it took so long, they gave me another number to call who was able to look up rebate info. It’s worth a try!
They sometimes have $19.95 rebates. Everything states one per household. Can you do 2 different rebates? What abt when they run it again? Anyone did multiple rebates successfully?
