Cedar Point, located an hour west of Cleveland Hopkins, has been voted in the world’s top 2 amusement parks for 20 years running.

See this post for more things to do in Cleveland.

Admission is normally $85, but if you buy tickets online today you can grab them for just $34.99-$42.50!

There’s good reason for consistently being ranked as the best park, the coasters there are pure awesomeness and are on an entirely different playing field than the collection in any other park in the world. People come from all over the world to spend time at Cedar Point as well as the plethora of beach and water activities along the Lake Erie coast and the Lake Erie Islands.

From the incredibly smooth Gatekeeper, to the thrill of the Valravn drop coaster, and the awesome feeling of pure weightlessness on Millennium Force. Maverick and Steel Vengeance are also highly rated coasters, and Top Thrill 2 launches this season, and looks incredible!

There’s a Camp Snoopy ride area for kids as well.

If you want to really get your rides in, consider splurging for the Fast Lane Plus pass. It’s pricey ($115-$199 depending on the date on top of park admission), but if you just have one day and want to get lots of rides in, it’s invaluable. Alternatively, if you stay in a Cedar Point resort you can enter the park an hour early, which also is a great time to ride without lines.

JJ, isn’t Orlando closer to you?

Dan

Orlando has great ride themes, but the rides themselves don’t compare to Cedar Point.

not dan

is this better than great adventures in Lakewood (jackson) NJ?

Dan

Significantly. There’s a reason it’s the roller coaster capital of the world. 😀

Mike

Nope been to both. Six flags and Cedar Point are very much the same for those who enjoy being shaken up and tumbled upside down.
Back in the day, Cedar Point had some best longest or something but it’s really not a big deal when you compare the two.

A few friends and I went last year took the plunge and got the fast pass (the one that included steel vengeance)
100% worth the money if you’re flying in for one (as we did) we went on so many roller coasters so quick we actually got a little sick so slowed down, but had an amazing time
There’s only 2 roads that lead to the island where the park is, and one of the roads closed due to a water pipe burst. The traffic leaving the park was a distasteful and we almost missed our flight back

We are flying into Cleveland from EY next week IYH. Is the park open already? Is it suitable for a bunch of teenage yeshiva bochurim?

Donald

Check the website for hours. Yeah, why wouldn’t a teenager have a blast there?
