Does anyone know how the switch works for shabbos?
I’m wondering the same thing. With this digital switch, does something happen when opened on Shabbos?
The display on the door turns on, they don’t have a way to disconnect it.
I called them and the light turns on on the door for 30 seconds every time the door is opened and there’s no way to close that function
Why can’t the button be tapped down like on any fridge

Sounds like you can’t. Sensors are devices built into the frame of the unit, possibly magnetic. Maybe someone can devise something to “fool” the sensor into thinking that the door is still closed.
Did anyone ever hear of this brand and know if they are reliable appliance brand?
You might be able to place a magnet over the magnetic sensor.
