Over the weekend and throughout today Amazon has had incredible deals on hundreds of products that they produce. Those include their own brands such as Amazon Basics, Rivet, Stone & Beam, and more.
We’ve been receiving a lot of questions as to what is the deal with this sale.
In the past there have been obvious reasons for huge discounts such as the Amazon Walmart price wars, special days like Black Friday or Prime Day, but the current sales are a bit puzzling.
My best guess would be that Amazon has overstocked warehouses and they need to clear out old inventory to make space for holiday shopping products. To achieve this goal Amazon will often offer massive discounts on their own products.
In fact, Amazon sellers have reached out to us trying to clear their own products due to Amazon increasing storage fees at their facilities and limiting the amount of items any one seller account can store at a given time.
While other readers have pointed out that Amazon is facing pressure from regulators to limit their products, and will be decreasing their own brands reach.
Whatever the reason is, we are the winners here, thanks to readers scoring dozens of great deals on a huge variety of everyday products and furniture!

I don’t think it’s a kill of their own label products as many items are now back to full price…
I would assume it’s too much inventory they are trying to slim down – you don’t need 1000 in stock if they sell over 6 months.. I don’t think it’s an out of space need room for holiday inventory as Amazon has a ton of space that they are now trying to sublease as per some articles.
A more slimmer Amazon is what They appear to be doing..

All sales have been down significantly. speak to any amazon seller. Amazon has 3 times drastically reduced space for third party sellers. Not good signs for economy but there will be great deals this year.
Amazon does not produce any physical products.
