We have this Soda Stream. I still haven’t found a way to disable the LED lights and make this ok to use on Shabbat. (For those who use the CO2 canisters on shabbas)
I’ve tried multiple times to disable the LED lights to no avail.
Just note that when thinking of buying this specific model
You should be able to remove the battery. Did you try calling sodastream?
If you google, you will find instructions for changing the battery, just skip the step of putting in a new one.
Note that Sodastream now only sells one machine – the Fountain – that takes the larger, more economical 130L CO2 Cylinders. They’ve really messed up the product line.
