You can see the impact of so many people following Amazon today. It’s not particularly hard to get a hotels.com $50 gift card for $40, and the last few times Amazon sold them at that price, it took a long time to sell out. Today — bamm! Sold out in minutes. I guess this is why Amazon does this: Prime Day attracts customers, who buy stuff.
Airbnb sold out in seconds. Bizarre.
