Could you use this on Shabbos?
is this a jewish company where tevilla isn’t required?
Pyle is a Jewish company. But item is probably made in China not supervised by a jew. Ask your ruv.
I asked them, they seemed to know what I was talking about and asked for model number and they’ll get back to me… I’ll post here when I hear back.
meanwhile, I opened it and removed the wires from the element and re-attached them, according to my rov, since I dismantled it to a non working status and then reassembled it, it’s considered that I made it and tevillah is no longer required. Also, tevillah does not have anything to do with Jewish supervision, only ownership, as long as it was always owned by a jew it’s good, so if a jew owns the company and commissioned the manufacture of it, it’s probably good, but I might be wrong.
They confirmed it does not require tevillah

Cordless? Really?
Said power cord included
“KEEP WATER HOT PERCOLATOR”
What does this even mean?
This is obviously not a percolator, but an urn.
Simply put, it means:
“This was translated from Chinese by someone whose first language is not English”
I used to have something that looks just like this. Was about 2 or 3 years ago. I just ordered it again.
Thanks Dan.
