A number of Ring alarm products are on sale directly from Ring: https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=117195.0

There was an unanswered question in the comments asking which of the Ring models are Shabbos-compliant. Would DansDeals post an item that religious people are forbidden to use?

Must they be turned off for Shabbos? Does anyone know please? I didn’t consider this and just installed 2..

I believe there are different shittos in this matter, and you can ask your Local Orthodox Rabbi. There is also much discussion about this on Forums.DansDeals.com, and you can feel free to check it out. Alternatively, as Dan wrote in his responses above, you can disable the cameras for Shabbos by using the Ring app.

Helpful?

There is a big discussion amongst the poskim regarding shabbos and video cameras. It is relevant all over and was a hot topic when they were installed for security all over The Old City. Many poskim hold it is mutar as you are not doing a specific act of melacha, you are just walking normally which is not a standard means of “writing”. Some poskim said that if the camera is installed for your security then it becomes a psik raisha d’nicha lay and would be assur.
