does this machine have an issue on shabbos?
It can’t be used on Shabbos, as every time you take water out it trips a electronic float valve. But you can ask your LOR
Can you use hot water on shabbos?
Hot water almost certainly not for multiple reasons. Cold water is the question I’m wondering.
What about bugs? Does it filter enough?

Anyone know if there are off-brand filters avail, or do you need to spend $99 every 6 months?
