Maximum of 900mA across all the ports (it’s not powered externally, only through USB 3.0) So, if you need multiple external drives or to charge your phone fast (some phones are 1.2A themselves) then you might not want this one. I was about to get it when I saw this info in the reviews and checked the specs elsewhere. It’s really good for data transfer, not for supplying power to things.
I was actually looking for something like this specifically to power my devices. Do you know of any that would work for that?

That plugs into the wall. The one above does 2.4 amps per port for fast charging on every port (but doesn’t support Qualcomm fast charging if your device uses that protocol). Search for usb charging hub on amazon to see the various options.

I bought this a while back to charge my phones etc and you are absolutely correct it did not work for that
