I believe these are not kosher as i ordered them in the past if im not mistaken i think they have gelatin in them

RH

Says it has Gelatin in it.

Izzy

Do these nerf a hechsher?

Abe

I received a sample of this item and noticed it has gelatin as an ingredient. Just FYI.

S

I don’t know if or does or doesn’t contain gelatin but I saw this site that says it may contain gelatin or glycerin. I thought I’d share. I know there are differing opinions about it, but some may not want to buy it

Joe

Any Kosher concerns? I’ve seen these products have gelatin on the brush

Abe

FYI, This product contains gelatin.

sam

not necessarily forbidden since it is not eaten and is not a food.

Jeje

Would your dog eat it?

Shmuli

Yes, yes he would.

Dan

All Colgate and Crest toothpaste has gelatin in it.
And most kashrus agencies say it’s not a problem, but ask your LOR.

Maxwell deer deer

One usually spits out toothpaste and mouthwash, whereas with wisp one does not. I don’t know if that’s relevant to the halachic status, but should be factored when comparing the two.

Dan

I asked a LOR when breathstrips came out before they had a hechsher and was told it was fine.

As I said, ask your LOR.

Sb

Are these kosher? Ingredients say gelatin

Sb

I should probably read previous comments before posting

Cardlashinsky

Can these be used on Shabbos?

Kosher

The Gelatin is actually derived from pork. But it isn’t assur L’fi Halacha (because he isn’t eating it and he is isn’t using it for flavor, and if he is, it is very possibly assur like treif gum)but a person should be Machmir and not use them
