Amazon has been mum on when Prime Day 2018 will take place, but TechRadar reports that Amazon’s UK website had a banner for a short time that advertised Prime Day as starting at noon on July 16 for 36 hours of deals.

There were lots of great deals sitewide on Prime Day last year, but my favorite was the 8 hours of handyman services for just $107. I used that deal to have a full backyard playground set put together!

There will likely also be “Prime Week” lead up deals before Prime Day even starts.

If you don’t have it already, you can sign up for Amazon Prime now to get in on these deals. You can sign up now for a free 30 day trial of Prime here to participate in these deals.  A prime trial is also free with Amazon Family (which also gets you up to 20% off diapers among other benefits) or Amazon Student. Amazon hasn’t officially announced the date yet, we will be sure to post more details about Prime Day as new information is published.

I still have 5 hours of handyman work that I keep on pushing off. Still not sure what I’ll use them for

Ben you commented on the post of the deal last year that you only booked 5 hours and wished you had booked more lol

Smack in middle of the 9 days.

Ask your LOR but if the sale is good and you would lose money, I think many would allow you to buy to use after 9 Av.

From the OU website:

“Another interesting exception to the ban on purchases is the case of bargains and availability. One may buy things – even “items of joy” – during the Nine Days, if they will be difficult to find after Tish’a b’Av, or even it they will be more expensive then. The mourning during the Nine Days is not intended to cost us money; it is meant to diminish our joy.”
