Can I cancel my subscription and use my kids’?
Or better yet is there a way I can convert my current account to an student account using my child?
This is an even better idea, because then you get to keep the shopping history and subscribe and save. I’m going to send Amazon a message.
Exact same thought I had!
is there a way i decide I’m younger and use that age? works for other things on official paperwork
Years ago, I cancelled my own Prime membership and we signed up with my oldest child’s account, who was in college at the time. When she graduated, we switched to a younger child entering college.
But I’m soon going to run out of college kids. I do wonder what will stop you from suddenly adding an 18-year-old to your household. What will they do to check it’s a real person? Frankly, if we had to pay full price for Prime, we’d cancel, as we don’t get enough value out of it to justify that fee.
Same question! My oldest child just turned 18.
Wow, this is actually a good idea.
was going to tell you about this… its going on for a while already
I bought a prime membership many years ago that I never activated, how do I add it to my account (it’s actually a shared account under my wife’s info/email)?
If you bought a ‘gift of prime’ that you never activated, you were refunded the money and the ‘gift’ has been cancelled, about 6 months ago.
Otherwise, open the email with the information on your purchase and likely there are instructions.
How is the cash back sent? Is it worth getting the youth membership for the entire year vs the other plans?
It’s credit to Amazon purchases. There is a cap of $500 back a year & $100 per purchase.
Can a 20 year old who signs up for this Student membership share an Amazon household with another adult in the family? That is, can my 20 year old sign up and add me as a 2nd adult to share his membership?
Thank you.
No
Does existing prime student earn 10% back as well?
And is it with their cc or without?
Yes. Without.
Is the 10% cash back for young prime members or all students even above age 24?
For both
Not true. Its asking for Student Verification
