Starwood: Book 2 Nights In Europe, Africa, Or The Middle East With Mastercard And Get 1 Free

If you book a paid stay at participating SPG hotels in Europe, Africa, or the Middle East for 2 nights, you’ll get the 3rd night free.

Offer valid through 12/31/16.

This is not valid for point stays, which require 4 award nights to get the 5th night free.

Sometimes these promotions require a higher base rate that actually makes them more expensive than finding a deal, but I checked at the highly rated Sheraton Tel Aviv and the prices were pretty good.

For example from July 24-27 the rate on SPG.com for a deluxe room is $335 per night. With the promo link above the cost of each night dropped to $223 after accounting for the free night. A deluxe suite fell from $635 to $470.

From August 28-31 the 3 for 2 rate comes out to just $210 per night and the suite is $430 per night.

The category 5 Sheraton charges 12K Starpoints per night in low season and 16K points per night in high season.If you book a 5 night stay the effective cost per night can drop to as low as 9,600 Starpoints per night.

If you have Starwood Business AMEX you’ll also have free access to the Sheraton club lounge, there’s no need to pay for the stay with your card for lounge access. Post a comment if you try switching the method of payment at the hotel from Mastercard to your Starwood AMEX to earn double Starpoints.

Post what other deals you find!

Misleading

Not really a deal at the sheraton TLV unless you’re a tourist.
If you live in Israel or have a student visa you pay 17% tax, which means $260 and $240 for the dates mentioned in the post.
These days its usually 12k points so you’re better off that way.

Gross

Just stayed in the Sheraton tel Aviv for a night the hotel is gross, has a horrible moldy smell and just dirty feeling over all. Needs a major renovation.

Avi

Would it combine with Citi Prestige 4th night free so you book 4 nights, get night 3 free from Starwood and night 4 free from Citi?

Dan

@Misleading:
I guess I take that for granted as a tourist 🙂

97% of DD traffic from North America, that’s generally who I’m writing for.

@Gross:
Interesting, the trip reports I’ve seen have all been very positive.

Perhaps part of it is renovated?

@Avi:
Sure!

Actually if u book 4 u get 2 free nights plus as avi said with citi u get 1 free night

Yitzyul

You must prepay and has to be mastercard which is ironic that you cant use thier own spg

Agoldsc1

How would this work with the Citi Prestige 4th night? Their travel agency would need to make the reservation? Does the reservation have to be under the Account Holder name?

Dan's the Man

@Avi: why would you want to stay in Tel Aviv for 4 nights?

Danny

@Agoldsc1: GREAT QUESTION. If you get a 4th night free could they book it with the 3rd night free per SPG and Prestige gives you the 4th? If anyone knows please tell us.

Avigail

Any recommendations for a starwood hotel in cape town ? Preferably in seaport.

@Danny:

Yes. Call and mention promo m3d to your citi prestige concierge–they should be able to book it for you without much issue.

Chaim

Is the Sheraton tel aviv a Kosher hotel?
