Update: This offer ends tonight!

Buy Wyndham Points For Just 0.93 Cents Each

Login to a Wyndham account, click on the link above, click on and click on “Explore the program,” “Earn Wyndham Rewards Points,” “More Ways To Earn,” and then “Buy Now” under the purchase points promo offer.

With this offer you’ll pay just 0.93 cents each, a record low price for Wyndham points! It’s significantly less than the 1.17 cents per point offer from Daily Getaways. This offer expires 1/16.

A Wyndham award room can cost 7.5K, 15K, or 30K points per night. Points are always subject to devaluation, so don’t buy points that you don’t have a plan to use in the short term.

For example the TRYP Jerusalem, located near the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall, can be booked for just 7.5K points or just $69.75/night by buying points with this sale. The paid rate is typically about $240 plus tax if applicable, making for an exceptional points value!

You can read a quick trip report from “BrooklynCPA” here or from “chaim0m” here. You can also view chaim0m’s pictures of the hotel here. In short, the rooms are small and the hotel isn’t luxurious, but the location is very good, the rooms are clean, and there is a great rooftop area.

With this deal it’s the biggest bargain in Israel by a long shot and it’s less than a 1 mile walk to most of the city’s sites, such as the Shuk or the Old City’s Jaffa Gate.

The Ramada Jerusalem, Ramada Netanya, and Ramada Hadera Beach are other Israeli hotel options bookable for 15K points per night, or $139.50 with this promo.

Wyndham points require account activity every 18 months to extend the validity of your points. Additionally, all points expire 4 years from when they’re earned regardless of activity.

Will you buy Wyndham points with this sale?

We have reservations at Tryp later this week, after Cairo. We hear that they no longer include breakfast with points booking. We booked 6+ months ago, so we will see…

Joe S

No breakfast on points unless you want to pay $20 p/p, doesn’t matter when you booked.

Is breakfast free on award stays?

Breakfast is not included, I stayed in November using points.

does anyone know if they have any connecting rooms?

Hi Dan, The expiration of Wyndham points is confusing – it seems all points don’t expire at the same time even if you have a paid stay at the Wyndham – is that true? I have an account and half my points are expiring one date and the other half another date? I’d really appreciate if you can clarify this for me!

How many points per night is Ramada Nazareth Hotel

ugly new hotel but not the worst – one of the contenders for that award would have to go to Leonardo Plaza, across the street. there’s something unique and beautiful abt Jerusalem but clueless & greedy developers are always working to put up ugly buildings, buildings ghat might be unremarkable, mediocre, in other cities but, which in Jerusalem, are insults, scars.

How are cash + points refunded?

It’s not stated under Rate Details, and since I have 0 points in my account, I can’t go forward to the booking page. (for a side trip to EZE on the GIG J fare)

Availability is an issue
You own points but no award nights available when you need it
That’s my experience

They had an issue a while ago but wide open now

Netanya and Hadera are notoriously bad for not opening up award space. Not sure if they’ve been forced to change since I last complained about them last January. I was sitting on 30k points that I had gotten for EITHER of those hotels but I realized that it wasnt my dates that were the problem. THEY HAD ZERO DATES OPEN! EVER
At first, corporate told me they were one of the few properties that didn’t participate in free nights for points. After speaking to several managers, miraculously, rooms eventually opened up! Shocking!
I only did this because a friend told me that they were sneaky and pretend to be sold out of eligible point rooms….Just FYI if youre banking on those hotels…

seems like a pretty simple no frills small rooms property for for $70 a night in Jerusalem within the wyndham umbrella its a no brainer

Anyone have an opinion on whether I should keep a point booking at Crowne plaza or cancel and use this hotel?

For proximity to shuk and Kotel and shuls, Tryp is better. We had two nights at CP and cancelled to book here when opportunity arose.

Wondering the same, if anyone has any insight one way or another.

4 nights at Crowne Plaza can be had for 54,000 points (after 4th night free and 10% rebate) – (worth about $270).

4 night at TRYP would be about $278 based on this rate.

Which would you go with?

Joe S

TRYP Jerusalem is great for price, just know rooms are tiny, no breakfast, no bathroom privacy and hard to shower without water going on floor. But location cant be beat and it is pretty new.

Dr Moose

How long does it take for the points to post to your account?

Dr Moose

Still hasn’t posted to my account. Purchased several hours ago.

Dr Moose

Just got an email that it posted now. So almost 24 hours.

If booking on points and Wyndham diamond would I then get free breakfast? Or even then not?

The TRYP Jerusalem at 7500 points in an excellent deal, especially if you don’t already have IHG points. The other chains in Israel seem to generally have poor redemption values. That said, I did some searching in other locations and I didn’t find great value. Most properties are at 15K points, and aren’t deals at $140 in points. I would not buy points at this price to hold for prospective stays, only definite stays that you’re going to immediately book.

Cp and Tyrp both same great location
Across the street from each other
If I had to choose I would go wirh cp
I don’t like see thru bathroom – shower
See pics and reviews

Anyone have any thoughts on tiny and clean vs. decent size room and dirty?
Does crowne Plaza deserve it’s reputation?

Does AmEx points transfer into Wyndham?

Dan, pls explain why fake ?

Crown Plaza is not across the street from the Tyrp. Cp is near Binyanei Hauma and Tyrp is in town.

I agree that the CP is badly located for people wanting to be in town and is a really dirty hotel

Dan, any idea why nothing happens when i click on “Buy points”? It shows a loading sign for a few seconds and then back to the regular page??

can you have one child per room with 2 adults? Is there a fee? (of course there’s a fee, if they allow does any know what that fee is?)

moshe levi

Can we span Shaboos sevah brachos at this hotel? Is it practical?

do u get a room upgrade if u have wyndham status?

I bought last week over 20k points. They cancelled it after 24 hours because there is a limit of 10k points….
