Update: Today is the final day to register for this promo.

Hyatt: Register For Bonus Points On Paid And Award Stays

Register via the link above and you can get bonus points for stays at Hyatt, MGM, and SLH hotels from today through 5/15.

You don’t get any points for your first stay in that period, but you’ll get 1,000 bonus points per night starting with your 2nd stay from today through 5/15. At Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels the bonus is 1,500 points per night.

This promo is valid for up to 50 nights, so 50 nights in a Hyatt Place after your first stay would earn the maximum bonus of 75K points.

Registration closes 3/31.

Free Hyatt nights start at 5K points and top-tier hotels that cost over $1,000/night are just 30K points.

The nice thing about this bonus is that it’s valid on both paid and award stays, so it’s effectively a rebate on award point requirements.

The World of Hyatt credit card is an excellent card and comes with 50,000 points in addition to annual free nights and promotions. You can read more about the new World of Hyatt card here.

Dan I already books my vacation in Cancun Ziva for March do I need to cancel the rooms and book them again? Or even if it’s books now I can still get the 1000 points per night?
Thanks

First stay doesn’t count. Read the post again.

I have two stays already booked, will I get the bonus for my second stay even though I just registered, or do I need to rebook after registering?

Would the annual free night from the Chase Hyatt credit card be considered as redeeming a free night award and count as an eligible stay?

Gary

Does anybody happen to know if an MLife stay, paid for using MLife points, still counts as a stay in Hyatt’s eyes?

Chris

I have a Cat 1 Hyatt place about an hour from me and am considering doing a mattress run on points to assure myself of 2020 Globalist status. I’d need about 20 nights, and would use points. A great deal during this promotion to get 1500 of the 5k points back nightly.

I would physically check in in person, mess up the bed and leave. Obviously after a couple days even with do not disturb sign on, they would figure I’m gone. Considering I’ll glad pay for the room are there any risks or best practices I should follow? Discuss with the hotel itself or would that risk program violations?

I really would hate returning to the hotel several times and would prefer a straight 20 night run. Advice is appreciated! Thanks

pointer

correction, top-tier hotels are 40k points

I just registered but had several separate award stays in the last few weeks. I am assuming those won’t count but not sure how to verify?

Looks like the answer is no to credit for stays before registered
