Book An Overwater Villa At The Conrad Maldives For 76-95K Hilton Points Per Night!
The overwater villas found in the Maldives and Bora Bora are the stuff that dreams are made of. You wake up surrounded by the warm ocean which is teeming with incredible sealife. There’s something magical about taking the steps from your villa into the ocean and watching the stars at night.
They’re also extremely expensive and very tough to obtain with points.
The S. Regis Maldives had overwater villas from just 26K Starpoints per night last year, but that deal ended within a few days and rates went up to 90K/night. There is an ongoing sale that drops the rate there to 47K-58K per night. Pricey, but it’s also the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
The Park Hyatt Maldives has beach rooms for 25K points/night, but you typically need to pay more than $500/night to upgrade to an overwater villa. And if you’re flying all the way to the Maldives, you’ll want an overwater villa.
I’ve stayed in overwater villas at the W and S. Regis Maldives and can’t wait to stay in another one in the future.
The Conrad Maldives has traditionally only had their beach room available for affordable point redemption. Premium rooms, like overwater villas, went for hundreds of thousands of points per night.
However you can book overwater villas right now for just 95K points per night. If you have a Hilton credit card or elite status you can book a 5 night stay for just 76K points per night!
Stay 5 nights and pay an average of just 76K points/night with a Hilton credit card or elite status.
The Conrad water villa includes a plunge pool on the balcony, great for a quick dip after snorkeling in the ocean.
The Water Villa measures 925 sq. ft. in size and sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children

Short on points? You can currently buy up to 144,000 Hilton points for $800 here thanks to an 80% bonus points promo through 12/29. You can transfer Hilton points between members, so multiple people can buy points and then pool them together!
Here are Mavic Pro pictures that I took in the Maldives earlier this year. Pretty much as close to paradise as you’ll find on this planet:
Note that it can take 24 hours to fly from the USA until you reach a resort in Maldives as you need to connect somewhere to reach Male (MLE) and then you’ll need to wait for a seaplane to bring you from the Male airport to your resort. That seaplane will also set you back some $250 per kid or $500 per adults plus tax on top of your tickets to Male. It’s an exhausting and expensive trip, but the water is truly stunning there and the isolation and relaxation is impossible to describe.
Airlines serving Male include Aeroflot (3 days/week from SVO), Austrian (2 days/week seasonally from VIE), British Airways (3 days/week seasonably from LGW), Cathay Pacific (4 days/week from HKG), Emirates (daily from DXB), Etihad (daily from AUH), Qatar (daily from DOH), Singapore (daily from SIN), and Turkish (daily from Istanbul).

Is the only way to get Hilton points through the Citi Hilton credit card & stays? Do any other credit cards transfer points to Hilton honors?
The Citi cards are turning into AMEX cards next month.
You can transfer AMEX points to Hilton.
So you’re saying get the citi hilton now as they will be gone and they convert to MR?
wow, what a dumb question – disregard
Is it fully refundable?
They have varying cancellation policies based on the date.
The exact policy for your dates will be listed before you confirm. It seems to range from 14-60 days advance notice required to cancel without penalty.
Just upgraded my Honeymoon!!!
Post a trip report on DDF!

See comments above.
sorry should have checked was nervous this was going to end quickly. also, can you walk over to the park hyatt maldives if you stay 2 nights in the conrad because you dont have enough hhonors points?
No. Each Maldives hotel is on its own island and requires a seaplane to get there.
any chance to book a beach villa and hope to get upgraded in ph with discoverist and hilton diamond ? or its in the bechinah of ein soimchen al haneis?
They upgrade from the beach villa to the beach villa with a pool, extremely long odds of getting an overwater unless you pay the upgrade fee.
Do you know if this a permanent thing, or just a promo? I stayed here this past February and had to pay US$350/nt for upgrade.
Unclear. Probably going to be short-lived, but hard to say for sure.
why cant i book a beach in the park hyatt or conrad and hope for an upgrade and diamond and explorist statues respectively? is that possible or leaning to highly unlikley? like if i wanted to go this summer,
The conrad beach villa is the same amount of points as the overwater with this deal.
The PH doesn’t upgrade from beach to overwater.
dan did you hear that they maybe coming out with a new mavic drone in the next year or so? i would buy one jut dont want to pay so much and then find out theres a better one and whats your opinion on the cheap drones ? are they worthelss even if they have a cheap model that has a 10 mp camera ? ty
There’s always going to be something better when it comes to tech. For now, the Mavic is the best overall drone out there for most people.
The cheap drones are worthless.
If i did the 5 night stay from Sunday to Thursday is there anything to do around there for Shabbat?
Fly to Singapore? Thailand? Hong Kong? Dubai?
Sri Lanka would be the closest
Can you do an open jaw with jal such as mle-nyc-mxp or ath?
Not that this changes anything – but can you swim/jump off the OWV straight into the water?
