Playa Hotels & Resorts, which owns hotels like Hyatt Ziva and Zilara in Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Hilton resorts in Playa, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic, will offer free COVID-19 antigen rapid tests to guests. Free testing will run from 1/22/21-4/30/21.
Free tests apply for 3+ night stays in Mexico or the Dominican Republic or 5+ night stays in Jamaica.
If you get tested 3 days before departure and don’t get your results back before departure, you’ll get a free room until the results come back. If you test positive you’ll get up to 50% off for up to 14 days in quarantine.
Hyatt Ziva are all-inclusive family resorts and Hyatt Zilara are all-inclusive adults only resorts. Free nights are 20K or 25K Hyatt or Chase points per night.

Did the work from Hyatt promotion and stayed at the Hyatt ziva cap Cana for two weeks in oct-nov for my wife and our two young sons and me. we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed it and I’d definitely go back. The resort was almost empty. I’d guess at most, there were 60 other guests in the ziva and zilara total. We often had the whole beach, or water park, or gym, or pool, or restaurant to ourselves. We had excellent internet, and my wife was able to have two zoom sessions going on at once on two laptops while my son did virtual school. We don’t keep kosher, so if you do, an all inclusive is definitely not for you.

This is not complimentary just that it’s available, it’s $150 per person! Here is the exact words from email I received while inquiring, “If you require a COVID-19- PCR test, the approximate cost per person becomes $150USD, as noted by the medical service. ” am I missing something?
You don’t need a PCR, you just need an antigen/rapid.
