Miami Beach has updated its executive order to require face coverings at many essential businesses.
As of Tuesday, all employees and customers at grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants must wear a face cover over their nose and mouth at all times.
Additionally, all individuals providing delivery services must wear a face cover over their nose and mouth while making deliveries.
Violators will be subject to arrest and criminal prosecution.
Other essential business that are still open besides for grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants are strongly encouraged to implement face cover policies.
Covers include a face mask, homemade mask, or other cloth covering, such as a scarf, bandana, handkerchief or other similar cloth covering. The city reminds people to leave N95 masks for medical personnel.
This comes after the CDC started recommending on Friday that Americans wear a face cover whenever they leave their home.

I’m sorry but they only have a right to enforce this if they provide us with the face coverings to wear.

Why? When pants, shirts and shoes are required do they provide those. There are instructions and videos all over social media teaching how to make simple masks. Legal issues might make it hard to provide them.

This is a ridiculous thing to say. Everyone already owns a scarf or old tshirt they can tie around their faces. Be responsible and do your part rather than finding reasons to complain.
WHY is this even a topic for discussion? We are a country full of ignorant, people in denial. It only takes one to infect a dozen. This is why it will cost this beloved country of ours tons more $$$ and needless pain and suffering. Sorry gig workers, there goes your livelihood, sorry grand parents, you may not have much more future, sorry kids, your parents are in danger of getting sick and maybe one will pass too young; we are so sad to see New Yorkers suffering so much, just breaks our hearts. The amount of clueless, ignorant federal officials need to be replaced – or at least appoint someone to make decisions on a NATIONAL effort. These piece meal efforts here and there is NOT efficient.
