Capital One currently operates a lounge in Dallas/DFW’s terminal D, and it’s excellent.

I have used it several times during connections there and loved being able to shower, use the prayer and relaxation rooms, try out the Peleton room, and enjoy free snacks and drinks there.

Venture X Cardholders and free additional user cards receive free Capital One lounge access for themselves and 2 guests. Thanks to annual credits that exceed the card’s annual fee, it’s a no brainer to have in your wallet.

Lounge access for Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Spark Miles for Business cardholders is $45 per person per visit. Those cardholders also get 2 free visits per year. Lounge access for everyone else is $65 per visit. Kids under 2 are free.

Tomorrow, Capital One expands its network with the opening of a lounge in Washington/IAD.

The 8,500 square-foot lounge is located just beyond the airport’s PreCheck, between the East and West Security Checkpoints. The Eero Saarinen designed terminal served as inspiration for the mid-century modern approach to designing and furnishing the lounge, which is located at the base of the historic control tower.

As in Dallas, this lounge will have grab-and-go food and drink options, but it will add
a full-service coffee bar with to-go options available. It will offer workspaces, local craft beer, custom cocktails, and more.

The lounge will also feature:

● A parent’s room featuring comfortable seating for caregivers who are feeding or nursing their children, as well as a changing table stocked with wipes, disposable diapers, and a bottle warmer
● A filtered water system so travelers can refill their reusable water bottles
● Secure lockers with plenty of room for carry-on luggage and personal items
● A flight status display to keep travelers on schedule
● Two semi-private, open-air rooms featuring ample quiet working space
● Individual power outlets at every seat, along with complimentary high-speed WiFi
● Kid-sized tables and chairs for families
● Four private, fully-stocked restrooms

Capital One Airport Lounges will soon open in Denver and Las Vegas. Capital One Landings, which focus on customers traveling through metro airports where shorter stays are the norm, will open shortly in LaGuardia and Washington Reagan/DCA.

Any update on AmEx EWR Terminal A ?
Official press release was kind of confusing one statement was end of this year but another place it said 2025?

Venture X is my favorite card. But why don’t they have any lounges in JFK, ORD, LAX or MIA?

The lack of a JFK option is especially bothersome as that is my local airport and doesn’t have the greatest priority pass lounges

Gil

I imagine they’re in Dulles early because Capital One is based out of norther VA.

I love Cap1 and think the Venture X is the best card for the money. My one wish would be for it to provide blanket trip cancellation insurance (similar to the CSR) rather than just for common carrier cancellations. Still an absolute steal for the annual fee.

Yankel

Trip cancellation insurance provided by credit card companies are worthless. They somehow always get out from reimbursing.

At 830am-7pm the hours aren’t great and there are no shower suites. That’s a fail in my book
