I am going to stop approving new comments temporarily, please post what you have to ask/add at ctownforums!
To better test how/if the ctownforums.com site should exist, please post any questions you may have on a deal in the specific thread on that deal over at ctownforums.
Please start a new thread in the “general discussion” category for any questions unrelated to any of the posted deals.
New to forums? Signing up and posting is easy!
-Step 1: Go to ctownforums.com
-Step 2: On the top of the page it will say, “Welcome Guest. Please Login or Register.” Click the register option.
-Step 3: Pick a username and password. Yo do not have to provide your real name. You DO need to provide a real email address! Fill out the rest of the short form, and select “I agree” at the bottom of the page.
-Step 4: Go to the email account that you provided and click on the activation link sent to you.
-Step 5: You are now activated. To start a new thread for any question you may have go to the general discussion and click on the “new thread” button (It’s on the right side of the white bar, right on top of the existing threads.)
-Step 6: If you would like to respond in an existing thread just go to the bottom of the thread and there is a “quick reply” box, just type in your your message and click “post reply.”
Alternatively, if you would like to respond to what someone said earlier in the thread, just click on the quote button found next to each post in the thread, that will take you to a page to reply directly to what that person said.
-Step 7: Need to change what you already posted? Just click on the “modify” button found next to your post!
I hope this will make the transition from a comments based system to a forum a little less scary for some of you out there…
