I’ve finally arrived home after traveling more than 25,000 miles in the past 9 days.

Just catching up with some 15,000+new emails (most of which will unfortunately go helplessly unanswered, that’s why there is a forum folks, I’m only human!) as well as new tweets and thousands of forum posts but this interaction on my twitter feed put a smile on my face:

By now thousands of you have already traveled to Israel after several insanely cheap ticket deals, whether nonstop from NYC on El Al or Delta or connecting via Chicago, Rome, Amsterdam, London, or Paris.

Ray

Dan – Got that amazing deal back in July. Paid $436 for two tickets then added $300 (total) to upgrade to direct flight. Total of $1172 round trip two adults. Just got back last week after a one week stay! Wife and I had an awesome time! Thank you Dan!!! Also, I highly recommend to all those renting a car to check out Noach Car Rental they got me an insanely good price with Hertz and hooked us up with a car seat!
Thanks!!

Just a Jew

I got two flights thru you…I can tell u there was never a bigger minyan in Charles de Gaulle!
Thanks Dan

Ray

@Ray: WARNING: FOR ALL THOSE TRAVELING WITH AN UNPAID INFANT AND UPGRADED TO A DIRECT FLIGHT WITH ELAL. BE SURE TO CONFIRM THAT YOUR CHILD IS REGISTERED ON YOUR FLIGHT!

I only realized one week before travel that somewhere in the transfer(when I upgraded to a direct flight ElAL took control of my reservation away from Expedia) between Expedia and ELAL my child got removed from the reservation. It tool me hours on the phone to get this sorted out. I Have no idea what kind of headache i would have gone through at the airport if I had not sorted this out beforehand.

took my family of 4 to israel via london for a week – would of never done it. only downside was the return flight with a stop in london for 13 hours had to clear customs, store luggage and check in again but it was worth it we rented a car and spent the night running around central london.
Thanks for sharing the deal with us – we got the tickets for $420 each

Petzel

welcome home buddy, glad to have u back i had some serious withdrawal symptoms from dd being so quiet just ask my wife!! anxiously waiting for the TR

Gary

@Petzel: Thanks Dan for the Delta flight deal to Israel. Not only did I get the 2 tickets for $1,097 to Israel, and get the free “upgrade” to the nonstop JFK-TLV, I also have a free one way to Florida in 2 months due to Winter Storm Nemo that allowed me to “change” my leg to FLL which was scheduled to depart 2 hrs after landing in JFK on 2/10.
FYI- DL was quite good, 747, flight times 9 1/2 there & 10 3/4 return. Only downside aisle seats not free.

dg

still awaiting general response to questions re aa merger in particular re those who have lifetime statusd on aa
Welcome back!

Dan

@dg:
Lifetime status isn’t going to change.

dg

thanks

THANKS DAN U DA MAN!
Went back in November via Paris with my wife for a week. Had a great time. We had another dansdeal couple next to us on the return flight!!

GMan

I got the glotch tikets and upgrated to nonstop, it was the biggest mistake that I got the non stop, because my flight was in November when the was missiles where being fired from Gaza, and ELAL was very nasty and didn’t let me change the tickets to a different time and gave me a hard time with canceling even after they said that they will let people cancel for free.
Never again for ELAL

Joel

Just got back yesterday. It was my best trip ever.

Manganator

hi, went 2 months ago with elal mistake, lots of people on that flight,
went jan 30th to feb 10th
a ton of people on flight we me, same people both ways, all bc u advertised that as ur sample date after u said the deal was dead then alive thanks to me 🙂

Mendel

Did it twice, with my entire family. Saved 10K or more.

1st time back in 2008, with BA tickets bought on Lan.

2nd time last year, with Alitalia and returning to Canada.

Thanks Dan!

Yitz

We are in Israel now after we DansDealed those Delta tickets. I’ve never seem so many Jews on a plane, even on El Al. Thanks Dan!

RR

Dan, came back last week, had an awesome time in Israel thanks to your advice on the Delta glitch. Approx. 20 members in my extended family took advantage to the great delight of the chosson and kallah who’s wedding we attended. On the way back met lots of people who got cheap tickets, including a large family that went to attend the wedding of a relative (sad story) and give some chizzuk. So Dan you spread more kindness and happiness than you can ever know!!
One poor guy traveled for one weekend and spent 13 hours in Amsterdam, he didn’t know anything about the upgrade! Looks like he’s not hooked to Dan’s Deals yet like the rest of us!! So thanks Dan

PlatinumGuy

POTUS, Barack Obama will be visiting Israel in March as a result of the El-Al fare glitch.

Chaim

I just got back last Friday after being in Israel for 10 days. I didn’t upgrade to the delta direct since I didn’t mind the stop in Amsterdam. There some nice sightseeing and museums there to go to. The EWR-AMS and AMS-TLV was packed packed with Dansdealsers.

mimi

Thanks dan you made my dream come true
was wanting to go to Israel forever.
Went in November met people on the plane and
in Israel who got the cheap tickets cuz of you.
Had an awesome time.

JJ1000

Went with 2 friends had an amazing trip! I met dozens of people who also dansdealed the trip 🙂

PlatinumGuy (the real one)

Wasn’t mine, if the guy who wrote wants to be publicly credited just shoot me an email.

No glitch here I just followed dd for more then a year and learned how to get the most miles as possible and all benefits of all cc and how to use the miles for the best airline trip. I ended by redeeming miles for an award business class ticket on delta airline 747 with all the benefits that came with it including Delta club, Priority boarding, garment kosher meals, Global entry, my seat was on the upper deck where there is only 14 seats like 14 private offices and I was treated like a king. It was the trip of my lifetime. Dan is very good for glitches but he is even better for educating how to do it in a normal comfortable way, just take your time and learn how to plan for a great trip. Thank you Dan for all your advice and I am looking forward to learn more for my next trip.

I “dansdealed” 3 tickets in Nov and had a great time. Also used Noach Car Rental and let him know I found him thru dansdeals! I don’t know how we managed b-4 Dan!

Oy Vey

Flew to Israel via Amsterdam, when our Delta flight experienced some sort of engine trouble over the Atlantic Ocean. Needed to make an emergency landing in Dublin, Ireland. The whe ordeal was somewhat frightening, and I couldn’t help thinking that you get what you pay for?! But it turned out to be a great trip, and I’m glad I went!

me

Just got back from Israel yesterday! Wherever we went we met people who came just cuz of dansdeals. They asked us by security why we came. We said because we got cheap tickets 😉 thanks Dan!
