Etihad: Buy A Future Travel Voucher And Get A 50% Bonus!

Airlines are coming up with creative ways to raise funds during this pandemic, and this Etihad deal seems fairly lucrative.

If you buy a future travel voucher from now through June 24th Etihad will add 50% to the value of it. You need to call Etihad to purchase the voucher.

The voucher can be anywhere from $250 ($375 after the bonus) to $65,000 ($97,500 after the bonus).

You can use the voucher for flights, or incidentals like bag and seat fees, from August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2022.

You can use the voucher for travel for anyone and the passenger will earn regular flight miles. You don’t need to be a passenger to use the funds for someone else.

The risks here are that Etihad goes bankrupt, which seems very unlikely, but if they do you can try disputing the charge. The other risk is that you don’t have a chance to use it by 7/31/22, though you can always find someone who is traveling and book them a flight.

Will you take advantage of this promo?

has to be a way to lay out 650,000 to buy ten vouchers on ten emails and then flipping it for 30% more in the next 2 years and selling the vouchers to others at a 20% discount how do i do that? ebay?

I was very impressed with how accommodating Etihad was with Kosher. My experience in business class included the flight attendant approaching me when boarding, letting me know they had all the Kosher meals for me available and asked what approximate time I would prefer them and asked if I prefer they warmed them up without anything else in the warmer. He also confirmed that I want them to remain double-wrapped or if they should plate it. Very impressive knowledge and attentiveness. Best flight I ever had – basically a hotel in the sky – again, this was business class though. Flight was JFK to Dubai.

*Correction – JFK to Abu Dhabi.

Eh. Only like 33% off

I love they way they spin it to make it sound like you’re getting it half price.

Can it be combined with discount for healthcare workers posted earlier this week?

maybe if they confirm an upcoming TLV route than they will have an easier time raising funds(-;

Can I used for Etihad marketed air Seychelles flight (which they own a big chunk of) ?
