Maybe I am doing this wrong but NYC–LGW Jan Jan 13 return Jan 21 prices out at $457.44 all on BA flights. Both dates seem to be on the list of dates. JFK to LHR prices out a bit higher.
Also the offer code CARDOFFERU says it is not valid for those dates.

Not sure how to determine if there is more value redeeming amex points at 2 cents each thru amex bus plat and paying 65$ more because not through AARP. Or just paying full retail at ba.com or a travel agent website. Can anyone provide guidance or metric for making this decision . Thank you.
