I am not sure if you buy this you are not a tam and a chachamת but one thing I can promise if you don’t do proper research you are a שאינו יודע לשאול

Dave

Well said, lol. I’m certainly a Tam because I dont have a million dollars for this type of assignment with them

Fred

Dave! You’re back! It’s always exciting to see your negative comments on these ads!
So you don’t have a million dollars. Congrats! Instead of typing ugly comments on these comment boards, maybe try to go do something productive? Just a thought!

A chacham would realize that the popularity of Orlando as a destination and the future rental price is not guaranteed. One could finance one of these homes expecting that rentals would cover the carrying costs and be sadly disappointed in future. In 5 or 10 years the tourist attractions may not attract tourists and Yiddin may finally return to the age old minhag of observing Yom Tovim at home with extended family. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

ben

Not disagreeing with the point about the future. However one of the reasons people to to Orlando for Yomim Tovim is to have a large enough house to be able to spend it with the extended family.

Dave

ben, it sounds like a terrible investment to spend 7 figures for an investment property just because Pesach is such a hot time in Orlando. As of now, RH, YK, Succos, and Shavuos aren’t huge hits in Orlando, yeshiva week is very popular but doesn’t bring the same extended families coming together like Pesach does. And the summer in Florida is……. well, it’s summer in Florida.

And buying the bubble right before it bursts makes you… ?
