It was established in 1943 by survivors who escaped the ashes of the Holocaust and has educated well over 7,000 students throughout its existence. The excellent education provided at the Academy is costly – the average cost per capita per child is $10,000 – and over 75% of their students receive some form of scholarship. However, the longstanding policy of the Hebrew Academy has been to educate all children regardless of background and financial ability.

Dan’s Note: I spent 9 years of my childhood learning in the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland and all 3 of my school-age children are currently enrolled at the school. The outcomes of the children that have graduated from the school speaks volumes about the quality education provided.
