Ah chaval, when it said “finally an answer to WhatsApp channels..” I thought it meant some sort of filter within WhatsApp.

I use meshimer and it blocks all access to channels and I think status also ? Give it a shot
My kids schools use this app and we love it! A great alternative to WhatsApp!
To each their own, but I don’t think adding another app that needs to be juggled is the answer (granted I also don’t care for WhatsApp either, so I just communicate the old fashioned way via email)

Who says they wanna make money? Maybe their in it to save humanity regardless of the financial price ala Elon Musk with X (Twitter)
For those who think this wont work. I’ve only just installed it. But I’m pretty sure it kinda works like the old blackberry hub. And shows you your messages from texts too. Not just msgs through DUV. If that’s the case, it’s an excellent alternative to you’re regular texting app. responses?

App messages are encrypted. No information is being sold or shared with anyone.
Shlomo, your privacy policy terms and conditions literally reads “The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you”.
You care to explain how it is possible to encrypt and massage and filter the message without sharing it? Clearly, you’re not telling the truth or you’re violating apple’s patent on using hashes.
I’ve been using the app for a few months and I love the ease of use and the privacy. My friends and family are using it with me and we all think it’s an excellent app.
