Is this the latest model?

Jake

No its not. Its the last model before they redesigned it in 2018 I believe. I would highly recommend against it as its using a 4 year old processor. You can sometimes find base model macbook pros for a little more than this or, depending on your needs I would recommend the new iPad Pro.

FWIW, IMHO that depends on what you’re buying it for. If, like me, you have simply become accustomed to the Mac eco-system, and really enjoy using macs, but don’t need all the power and storage for massive graphics programs and the like, then this is a really good price point to get a mac-os laptop for. You cannot really get in to a new macbook (unless you’re taking risks of used and 3rd party refurbishing) for cheaper, and chances are you won’t notice the slightly weaker processor. In my own case actually, given that I was using a MacBook from 2010 that finally died on me, this will be an upgrade, which is why I was happy to get one for this price And to add another point, if you have older peripherals, you’ll find the older USB port and SDXC slot really useful…..

The item doesn’t say if it has returns but it is sold and processed by amazon prime, does that mean it has returns? I called amazon and double and triple checked and they claimed that it does have returns as it is a prime item… still a little skeptical though

K

ask them for the record number of the call. if they give you an issue with the return you can tell them they told you 100% that it is returnable

Joel

How do u I find that?

K

you will have to call them again and have the discussion again. then after they tell you it is indeed returnable, ask for the record number of the call

Sam

It clearly says no returns

Dan1

Where does it say that? I don’t see anything that says “no returns”
