A great free way to learn the daf online is dafhachaim.org/ which I use it all the time and its free. They have an ipad app and it has a intro, a shiur and then a review. You can choose to only do one of them. all are great.
If you have Amex Card and Chase Freedom, once you are over $200 (or $250 if you want an in-store pick up for the $25.00 Best Buy Card), I think it pays to make a separate purchase for the rest on the Chase Freedom card as Best Buy purchases get 5% back through the end of December if the card is registered (or whatever the proper terminology is).
