Anyone actually have any experience with groupon’s guarantee?

Can you really simply say that my stay/experience wasn’t good and they will give you a refund?

What exactly does “let down” mean?

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, awesome stay, great hotel, but if you need parking, don’t use hotel, it was like 25 dollars a night, about half block down, there’s a casino, they charge 5 dollars Canadian for parking! On Friday goes up to 20 after 8 or 9am, so get out before!

Maybe speak to them about upgrade on room or give you more than just two shuttle passes (for kids also). You would probably have to wait until to check-in to bargain.

Anyone know about the Shacharis Minyanim in Niagra. Does anyone think its possible to arrange a Minyan on the Maid of The Mist. It would be such a special davening, sitting there and watching the Niflaos Habore.

For all of you that have Sprint, It’s a problem to use it in Canada,(Niagara on the Canadian side) you can be charged 59 Cents per minute (unless you sign up with a plan then its 20 Cents). Since Niagara is so close to the USA, if you set your phone that it should NOT roam, then it will most likely find a Sprint tower, and if you are in Canada and it picks up a Sprint tower there is no charge, it’s like making and receiving a call in the USA.

The room with this groupon will not be the 45th floor corner room. It will be a 10th floor room where you can see the falls if you turn your head and press your nose up against the glass. Otherwise, you will mostly see the video screen on the building next door. The hotel charges for its rooms by height and view. I stayed there last year, and while I could not debate the claim that there was a “view of the falls”, it was not what I was lead to believe. However, it is a very nice hotel.

I am a tour operator in Toronto and yes this is a good deal, but you can get lower-priced hotel rooms at top hotels cheaper during this time period. This time of year is dead in Niagara Falls and hotels are hungry for business! I would suggest purchasing your hotel rooms through hotwire.com or better by bidding on priceline.com.

great info sam… just want to point out though that if you plan on actually eating at either of those 2 restaurants at niagara, bring a limitless credit card cuz u’ll pay over $35 for a pie of pizza and a lot more for a BBQ. My suggestion- but a disposable grill at walmart, bring a cooler and make your own BBQ for a fraction of the price. You can prob get a pop up sukkah and still pay less then these places.
