Anyone actually have any experience with groupon’s guarantee?

Can you really simply say that my stay/experience wasn’t good and they will give you a refund?

What exactly does “let down” mean?

Nechemia

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, awesome stay, great hotel, but if you need parking, don’t use hotel, it was like 25 dollars a night, about half block down, there’s a casino, they charge 5 dollars Canadian for parking! On Friday goes up to 20 after 8 or 9am, so get out before!

DZ Telz

Anyone has any idea what to do with the $40 dining credit to The Keg Steakhouse & Bar.

theyoily

@DZ Telz did you not see the bar part

@Nechemia: Anybody that stayed at this hotel has any other good tips

Maybe speak to them about upgrade on room or give you more than just two shuttle passes (for kids also). You would probably have to wait until to check-in to bargain.

Sam

Chabad Niagara is happy to provide the visitors with a large Sukkah open to the public throughout Chol Hamoed Sukkot.

The Sukkah will be located in the heart of the Niagara Falls tourist area, across the Four Points Sheraton Hotel (6455 Fallsview Blvd), corner of Stanley Ave & Dixon Street.

Anyone know about the Shacharis Minyanim in Niagra. Does anyone think its possible to arrange a Minyan on the Maid of The Mist. It would be such a special davening, sitting there and watching the Niflaos Habore.

Sam

There are two Kosher restaurants in Niagara Falls – Canada, which will operate Chol Hamoed Sukkot.

There are NO Kosher supermarket in Niagara Falls, however products with a Kosher certification may be found in any supermarket. Kosher certifications that may be found in our area are: OU, COR, OK, MK

@Sam’
Thanks for the info. Maybe post it all in the niagara falls master thread on the forums

Andy

I stayed in this suite three weeks ago. The view in the room is absolutely amazing and mesmerizing! Try and stay in the corner suite on the 45+ floor.

Chaim

i would love to go there for thanksgiving but have no idea how to get their from NYC..anyone have any ideas or know if thanksgiving is blacked out?

A Jakubovics

I see there are a lot of people planning on going to Niagara for Chol Hamoed. I am going with 4 Kids ages 2-7, can anyone post ideas of what to do in Niagara for these age kids, and in general any good ideas to do or save money there. Thanks

Kollel Bus guy

For all of you that have Sprint, It’s a problem to use it in Canada,(Niagara on the Canadian side) you can be charged 59 Cents per minute (unless you sign up with a plan then its 20 Cents). Since Niagara is so close to the USA, if you set your phone that it should NOT roam, then it will most likely find a Sprint tower, and if you are in Canada and it picks up a Sprint tower there is no charge, it’s like making and receiving a call in the USA.

Zalman G Telz

@Andy: They are not offering that high of a room “-Floor-to-ceiling windows with view of falls on floors 10–15”

Joe

The room with this groupon will not be the 45th floor corner room. It will be a 10th floor room where you can see the falls if you turn your head and press your nose up against the glass. Otherwise, you will mostly see the video screen on the building next door. The hotel charges for its rooms by height and view. I stayed there last year, and while I could not debate the claim that there was a “view of the falls”, it was not what I was lead to believe. However, it is a very nice hotel.

Mr. Banker

@Kollel Bus guy: It works, whenever I go to Montreal I turn off the roaming< and I get to use the phone for about 10 miles into Canada

Sara

I actually stayed in the 14th floor and the view was spectacular!!!! I guess depends what room you get.

Nechemia

there are kosher places in buffalo, to by all sorts of stuff, consider going there and its a lot closer than lets say toronto

Nechemia

Sara, the hotel starts from the 14th floor no??????????

Zevy

@Nechemia: Nope it starts from the 10th floor.

Yakov

I am a tour operator in Toronto and yes this is a good deal, but you can get lower-priced hotel rooms at top hotels cheaper during this time period. This time of year is dead in Niagara Falls and hotels are hungry for business! I would suggest purchasing your hotel rooms through hotwire.com or better by bidding on priceline.com.

Mr. Banker

@Yakov: I would but you can’t get a Suite on those sites.

Ephraim

Anyone know if you can you switch the 2-Queen 2 Room Suite for a King Whirlpool Suite?

me

great info sam… just want to point out though that if you plan on actually eating at either of those 2 restaurants at niagara, bring a limitless credit card cuz u’ll pay over $35 for a pie of pizza and a lot more for a BBQ. My suggestion- but a disposable grill at walmart, bring a cooler and make your own BBQ for a fraction of the price. You can prob get a pop up sukkah and still pay less then these places.

Sam

@me: You are exaggerating.
